5 Gin cocktails and their irresistible recipes

Today, we are bringing you 5 Gin cocktails and their irresistible recipes, as well as some interesting facts about the history of Gin on World Gin Day, always held on the 2nd Saturday of June.

▪️Like many spirits, it emerged as a medicinal remedy.

▪️The 1st distillation took place in Holland in the 17th century as part of research into a solution for kidney ailments. This action was carried out by mixing ingredients such as: Rye, barley, corn and juniper.

▪️Hence its Dutch name “jenever” which comes from “genièvre”, and means juniper in French.

▪️Then, once the British soldiers discovered it, they introduced it to their islands as a drink.

▪️Gin Tonic is a Spanish mix, which is other places around the world is ordered as “Spanish-style gin”

? However, today we have 5 different and irresistible recipes, all with gin and each as tempting as the next.

MARANELLA SILVER FIZZ

INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION

Shake all the ingredients with ice, take out the ice and shake again, double strain into a chilled Goblet glass.

SIGNATURE COCKTAIL: Pedro Jaén

ROSE SUNSET SOUR

INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION

Shake all the ingredients without ice, add ice and shake again, double strain into a previously chilled Coupette glass.

SIGNATURE COCKTAIL: Safia Alhalabi

 

ORANGE COLLINS

INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION

Shake all the ingredients with ice except the soda, double strain into a Highball glass filled with ice, finish with sparkling water.

 

REDITE LADY

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 oz Gin
  • 1/2 oz ginger liqueur
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz homemade honey syrup
  • 1 barspoon of Sanz grenadine syrup
  • 2 dashes of vanilla bitter
  • 3/4 oz of egg white
  • rosemary scent

PREPARATION

Shake all the ingredients with ice, take out the ice and shake again, strain into a Coupette glass.

SIGNATURE COCKTAIL: Liwa Alexandre Polo

 

SHUKA MARTINI

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 oz Gin
  • 3/4 oz lychee
  • 1 barspoon of Sanz sugar syrup
  • 1/4 oz of homemade sugar with Kaffir lime and cardamom
  • 1 oz  Sanz mango purée
  • Fresh ginger
  • Basil leaves
  • Yuzu and red curry

PREPARATION

Crush the ginger and curry at the bottom of the cocktail shaker, add the other ingredients and shake, double strain into a previously chilled Coupette glass.
