Some flavours have been working together for years. Mango and spice are one of those combinations.
In cooking, it is a well-established pairing and, when it moves into a cocktail shaker, it makes just as much sense. Mango brings body and fruitiness, lime keeps the mix fresh, and ginger adds that spicy note that gives the cocktail more depth.
Then comes the heat. It does not hit immediately, nor does it take over the whole drink. It arrives at the end, leaving a pleasant aftertaste that invites you to take the next sip.

Margarita salt rim.
Add all the ingredients to a shaker filled with ice and shake for a few seconds. Double strain and serve in a glass prepared with the salted rim. Finish with a slice of dehydrated lime.
The recipe is not designed for the spice to be the main character. Its role is to extend the flavour and give the mango another dimension.
The lime provides the acidity needed to keep the cocktail light, while the Ginger & Chilli Syrup introduces a warm note that gradually develops. The result evolves as you enjoy the drink.
