How to create decorations for cocktails

Sanz Cocktails ·

The decoration is vital for the aesthetic and feel that the end cocktail offers. That is why we are going to show you how to create decorations for cocktails.

We are going to show you 3 types of peels for creating a professional decoration that is thin, elegant and perfect.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

▫️A good peeler

▫️Perfect fruit without blemishes or rotten bits

▫️Grip the peeler firmly with your fingertips facing inwards holding the fruit.

▫️Go from end to end to use the entire fruit.

▫️When you drag it dig the peeler in well so it removes peel with a certain thickness

▫️The white part of the peel will give the decoration rigidity in this case.

▫️We will cut the lime sideways given that it is a smaller fruit than orange.

▫️Cut the way that Luis Inchaurraga shows in the video… ready ?

We are going for a cocktail to practice the decoration:

MANGO AND CHILLI MARGARITA:

▫️Leave a cup to chill with ice.

▫️30 ml Jalisco Rested 100% Blue Agave Tequila

▫️22.5 ml Charly´s Triple Sec

▫️10 ml Sanz Cocktails Chilli Syrup

▫️30 ml Lime juice

▫️30 ml Sanz Mango Purée

▫️Shake well

▫️Throw away the ice from the chilled glass

▫️Double strain

▫️As decoration/garnish: add lime peel in the shape of a cat´s eye.

Cheers!
