Coffee is one of those ingredients that never goes out of style, yet in mixology it continues to reinvent itself time and time again. Its aroma, intensity and versatility make it the perfect ally for creations that go far beyond the classic Espresso Martini.

Today we bring you five irresistible coffee cocktails, crafted with Sanz Cocktails products, where flavour meets creativity to take every sip to the next level.

 

1. CACAO-MASALA
A spiced, exotic and deeply aromatic cocktail.

Cocoa and coffee come together in this recipe that fuses the warmth of Indian spices with the bold character of Jamaican rum. An ideal choice for those who enjoy complex, enveloping flavours.

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml Jamaican rum infused with Tikka Masala
  • 15 ml Cherry Heering
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml Sanz white chocolate syrup
  • 2–3 drops coffee and pecan bitters

Preparation:
Shake all ingredients with ice and double strain into a chilled coupette glass.

For the infused rum:
Add one bottle of Jamaican rum (700 ml) and 1 teaspoon of Tikka Masala spices to an airtight jar.
Leave to infuse for 8–12 hours, shaking every 2 hours. Strain through a cloth filter and bottle.

 

🍇 2. RASPBERRY GASCÓN COFFEE
A classic reinterpreted with a French soul.

Inspired by the elegance of Armagnac and the smoothness of hazelnut, this cocktail is pure liquid seduction. The raspberry cream turns it into a dessert in a glass: sweet, creamy and delicately nostalgic.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz Rabastas 6-year-old Armagnac
  • 1 oz Sanz Hazelnut syrup
  • ¼ oz Benedictine liqueur
  • 2 oz raspberry cream

Preparation:
Add the ingredients to a goblet glass in the order listed.
Using a bar spoon, pour the raspberry cream gently to achieve a perfect layered presentation.

 

☕🌰 3. HAZELNUT ESPRESSO MARTINI
The classic with a hazelnut twist that changes everything.

The Espresso Martini is one of the world’s most popular cocktails. In this version, Sanz Hazelnut syrup adds roundness and a toasted nuance that enhances the balance between vodka, coffee and liqueur.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 espresso
  • ½ oz coffee liqueur
  • ¼ oz Sanz Hazelnut syrup

Preparation:
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass.
The result: a silky, aromatic cocktail with the perfect foam.

 

🔥 4. SACRED COCKTAIL
A liquid ritual: coffee, coconut, pineapple and palo santo smoke.

This cocktail is a sensory experience from start to finish. From smoking the glass with palo santo to the first sip, where coffee blends with tropical and herbal notes.

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml coffee vodka
  • 30 ml Sanz Cocktails pineapple purée
  • 7.5 ml Chartreuse
  • 22.5 ml lime juice
  • 15 ml Sanz sugar syrup
  • 7.5 ml Sanz coconut milk syrup

Preparation:
1️⃣ Smoke the glass: lightly burn a piece of palo santo with a torch and cover the glass to infuse the aroma.
2️⃣ Shake all ingredients with ice and double strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.

A spiritual, balanced and surprisingly refreshing cocktail.

 

❄️ 5. EXOTIC RUSSIAN
A creamy fusion of coffee, lemon and wild berries.

A tropical, aromatic twist on the classic Russian. The balance between espresso, cream and the citrus touch of Sanz Lemon syrup makes this a unique cocktail — smooth yet powerful.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz vodka with açaí
  • ½ oz Nordpol coffee liqueur
  • ¼ oz Licor 43
  • 1 espresso
  • ½ oz Sanz Lemon syrup
  • ⅛ oz Sanz chocolate syrup
  • 2 oz cream

Preparation:
Shake all ingredients with ice, discard the ice and shake again to create foam.
Double strain into a chilled glass.
The result: a velvety texture with a sweet, citrusy finish.
