Since 1889<\/h2>\n

Jarabes Sanz (Sanz syrups) was established in the Mediterranean in 1889, as a result of the work and persistence of the Sanz family. And it was possible thanks to enthusiasm and a passion for quality and excellence…the values of the oldest syrup brand in Spain and the second oldest in Europe, values that they gave to us as a gift for the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

01.<\/span> The beginning<\/h3>\n

In 1880 a small distillates and syrups factory was opened in Grao (Valencia), and after nine years of hard work it produced the first Sanz syrups, which was then registered as a trademark. The original formulas, with extraordinary qualities for the time, along with a unique and original presentation design, quickly made them a success and turned them into a benchmark in Spain for the most exclusive cocktail making.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

02.<\/span> First recognitions<\/h3>\n

These years witnessed one success after another, the brand obtained gold medals (14) at national and international fairs, honorary diplomas (8)… The success and recognition of the brand was a fact, and it was even appointed \u201cOfficial Supplier to the Royal Household\u201d by King Alfonso XIII.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

03.<\/span> Expansion<\/h2>\n

During the 80\u00b4s, a new challenge arose; due to its great popularity, Jarabes Sanz was purchased by Destilerias J.Borrajo S.A. With this change, the commitments of Mr Carlos Borrajo and Mr Enrique Sanz would be decisive in maintaining the values and tradition that began in 1880. During this new stage, the efforts of Destilerias J.Borrajo S.A managed to combine the excellence of the products, with the contribution of technological advances.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our future look<\/h2>\n

Aware of the brand\u00b4s legacy, but always looking towards the future, the objective of our company and Jarabes Sanz has been consolidated on the extension of the brand, basing our work on naturalness, and constantly adapting the range to the demands of new cocktail making.<\/p>\n

Naturalness and Authenticity are our commitments. Thus, we produce syrups made from real fruit, and with the highest percentage possible, a real way of getting close to the true flavours!<\/p>\n
